 Congratulations to the members of The Polo Trace Pro-Am Team as they are the 2010 East Coast Pro-Am State Team Champions!
The team was lead by Darren Panks, PGA Golf professional and his team members were; Pete Cogan, Sean Howell & Neil Wasserman. 2nd Place Team: Eastpointe Golf & Racquet - Derek Niszczak, PGA Golf Professional; Nick Chiantese, John LaValle & Joe Paranzion. 3rd Place Team: Saitn Andrews C.C.: Paul Clivio, PGA Director of Golf, Rich Bane, Mark Kleiner & Tony Tranese.

The West Coast Pro-Am Team Championship will be held on October 4th, 2010 at Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers.

The Golf Association of Florida is once again pleased to be of assistance to the First Tee of Lakeland and the Mid-Florida Junior Golf Tour (formerly the Central Florida Junior Tour.) All First Tee and Mid-Florida Junior Tour participants are given USGA Handicaps FREE of Charge. These handicaps are provided thru the combined efforts of GAF and our Handicap Partners GolfNet Inc. If you are a member of either of these programs please contact Gerald Richardson if you interested in receiving a USGA Handicap.

The Golf Association of Florida (GAF)

provide Course Rating and Handicap Services. The GAF proudly serves
185 golf courses and 115,000 golfers in the state of Florida and is
one of the fastest growing Golf Associations in the country. The GAF
is a non profit 501 © - (3) organization dedicated to promoting and
serving the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf in the
state of Florida.
The GAF conducts handicap seminars, rules seminars, course rating seminars, and tournaments. In addition we can assist with rules interpretation and with issues concerning amateur status.
The Golf Association of Florida has a growing list of member
golf courses. Public, semi-private & private courses participate and
receive benefits through their membership.
